Ta’Quell was not intended to survive his childhood. His family along with others subjected him to consistent verbal abuse. Ta’Quell endured a childhood that not many would be able to endure. He was overlooked, underestimated, and at time homeless. He was raised in an abusive household for which the consequence was extensive psychiatric care and thoughts of taking his own life. Ta’Quell’s experiences expose the extreme wickedness of which some are capable, but more importantly, they share a story of hope, strength, courage, and faith.

“If we’re honest, life is hard isn’t it? Some things I thought would happen in my life, didn’t; while other things I never imagines happening emerged before my wide-open eyes. Life doesn’t end with “;”, that’s where it begins. Maybe, you’re broken too. The good news is we can grow, even when we are broken. We’re not finished. Life is a process.” – Ta’Quell
